Le Cirque du Bout du Monde
At its highest point, the Cirque du Bout du Monde rises to 530 meters above sea level, in the Côte-d'Or commune of Vauchignon. It's a gentle climb from Nolay, with no major difficulties, but one that will take you to a destination offering magnificent scenery! At the far end of the valley lies the beautiful Cascade du Cul de Menevault.
Several signposted footpaths criss-cross the site, allowing you to explore every nook and cranny.

This rocky escarpment rises to a height of almost 500 m and stands amidst the vineyards, overlooking the commune of Solutré-Pouilly.

The limestone escarpments of Solutré-Pouilly, Vergisson and Mont-Pouilly are thought to have been occupied by Mousterian man 52,000 years ago. The Musée Départemental de la Préhistoire exhibits these discoveries.
